1943 Saalfield Publishing Company hardcover with dust jacket, first printing
This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with signs of age/wear; DJ bears light rubbing/scuffing, some edgewear and associated corner wear, wear along/about spine and inset folds, light fading to DJ whites, minuscule points of blemish/distress. Red-brown coverboards show light rubbing, minor edgewear and associated corner wear/rounding; separation at front coverboard. Interior pages show clean/smooth, creamy-white, with sharp black typeset and good preservation of B&W images/illustrations; light wear/tanning. Spine remains straight/smooth, with mild distress and some shelfwear (top/base), while binding is intact/secure and square-to-hand, but dry. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs.
