1944 J B Lippincott Company hardcover children's picture book, Weekly Reader Book Club edition
This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with light signs of age/wear; coverboards bear mild rubbing, light edgewear and minor associated corner wear/rounding, minor points of distress/blemish. Interior pages show clean, bright-white, with excellent preservation of full- and two-tone color illustrations and sharp black typeset; little wear/tanning. Spine remains straight/smooth, with mild shelfwear (top/base), while binding is still tight/secure and square-in-hand. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs.
