1947 Grosset & Dunlap hardcover with dust jacket, first printing
This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with light signs of age/wear; DJ bears mild rubbing/scuffing, some edgewear and associated corner wear, mild fading/smudging to rear DJ whites, minor points of blemish/distress. Fire engine-red coverboards show light rubbing, minor edgewear and associated corner wear, minuscule points of blemish/distress. Interior pages show clean/smooth, creamy-white, with bold black typeset and good preservation of B&W images/illustrations; little wear/some tanning. Spine remains straight/smooth, with minor shelfwear (top/base), while binding is intact/secure and square-to-hand. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs.
