1948 Grosset & Dunlap hardcover with dust jacket, first printing
This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; DJ bears rubbing/scuffing, progressive edgewear and some associated corner distress, wear along/about spine, light fading/smudging to rear DJ whites, distress at inset folds, minor points of blemish/distress. Fire engine-red coverboards show light rubbing, minor edgewear and associated corner wear, small points of blemish, faint fading. Interior pages show clean/smooth, creamy-white, with bold black typeset and good preservation of B&W images/illustrations; little wear/light tanning; demarcation to front endpaper. Spine remains straight/smooth, with minor shelfwear (top/base), while binding is intact/secure and square-to-hand, but dry. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs.
