1951 Harper & Row children's hardcover with dust jacket, first printing
This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; DJ bears rubbing/scuffing, minimal edgewear and associated corner wear, mild fading/smudging to whites, minor points of distress. Interior pages show clean, antique-white, with good preservation of B&W illustrations and sharp black typeset. Spine remains straight/smooth, with minor shelfwear (top/base), while binding is still tight/secure and square-to-hand. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs.
