1959 Whitman Publishing Company hardcover, first edition
This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; graphic laminate coverboards show light rubbing/scuffing, edgewear and associated corner wear, visible fading/smudging, points of peeling, wear along/about spine, minuscule points of blemish/distress. Interior pages show clean/smooth, creamy-white, with good preservation of two-tone color B&W images/illustrations by Alex Toth and sharp black typeset; some wear/visible tanning. Spine remains straight/smooth, with visible fading, heavy peeling and shelfwear (top/base), while binding is intact/secure, but dry, with threat of separation at front coverboard. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs. The book measures approx 5.75" x 7.75".
