1960 Peter Pauper Press hardcover with dust jacket (gift book format), first edition
This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; DJ is missing, white coverboards show light rubbing, minor edgewear and associated corner wear, light fading/smudging to whites, minuscule points of blemish/distress. Interior pages show clean/smooth, creamy-white, with bold black typeset and good preservation of B&W images/illustrations; little wear. Spine remains straight/smooth, with minor shelfwear (top/base), while binding is intact/secure and square-in-hand. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs.
