1961 Gelles-Widmer Company children's hardcover picture book, first printing
This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with signs of age/wear; coverboards bear rubbing/scuffing, moderate edgewear and associated corner wear/rounding, visible fading/smudging to cover whites, wear along/about spine; demarcation to interior front coverboard. Interior pages show clean, fresh-white, with excellent preservation of full-color illustrations and bold black typeset. Spine remains straight/smooth, with heavy shelfwear (base), while binding is still secure/square-in-hand. There are no excessive nicks, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs.
