1962 Peter Pauper Press hardcover with dust jacket (gift book format), first edition
This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with light signs of age/wear; DJ is missing, graphic coverboards show light rubbing, mild fading/smudging, minor edgewear and associated corner wear/rounding, slight wear along/about spine, minuscule points of blemish/distress. Interior pages show clean/smooth, fresh-white, with excellent preservation of two-tone color illustrations and bold black typeset; little wear/tanning. Spine remains straight/smooth, with mild shelfwear (top/base), while binding is intact/secure and square-to-hand. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs.
