1963 Macmillan Company hardcover with dust jacket, first edition
This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with light signs of age/wear; DJ bears mild rubbing, light edgewear and associated corner damage, rip at front top left, mild fading/smudging to cover whites, minuscule points of blemish/distress. Pumpkin-orange coverboards show light rubbing and good preservation of graphics. Interior pages show clean/smooth, creamy-white, with sharp black typeset and good preservation of B&W line illustrations; little wear/tanning. Spine remains straight/smooth, with minor shelfwear (top/base), while binding is intact/secure and square-to-hand. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs.
