1964 Whitman Publishing Company children's hardcover, first printing
This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; there is mild rubbing to surface of coverboards, minimal edgewear and associated corner wear/rounding, minor point of blemish/distress. Interior pages show clean, creamy-white, with good preservation of green-tone line illustrations and bold black typeset; little wear/light tanning. Spine remains straight/smooth, with minor shelfwear (top/base), while binding is intact, with beginning separation at rear coverboard and mild shift. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs. The book measures approx 8" x 6" with 210 pages.
