1965 Houghton Mifflin three-volume hardcovers with dust jackets in slipcase, second edition, eleventh/twelfth printing
These are vintage used items, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; DJ's bear light rubbing/scuffing, visible edgewear and associated corner damage, wear along/about spine and inset folds, light fading/smudging, minor nicks/chips, minuscule points of blemish/distress. Interior coverboards show light rubbing, minor edgewear and little associated corner wear/rounding, minuscule points of blemish. Interior pages show clean/smooth, creamy-white, with sharp black typeset; little wear/tanning; fold-out maps in rear coverboards remain intact and show clean/smooth, with excellent preservation of images/illustrations. Spines remain straight/smooth, with minor distress and shelfwear (top/base), while bindings are intact/secure and square-to-hand. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs.
