1979 Houghton Mifflin & Co children's hardcover picture book with dust jacket, Caldecott Honor edition, fourteenth printing
This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; DJ bears rubbing/scuffing, progressive edgewear and associated corner damage, wear along/about spine, mild fading/smudging to DJ whites, minuscule points of blemish/distress. Sandy-tan coverboards show light rubbing, minimal edgewear and light associated corner wear. Interior pages show clean/smooth, antique-white, with excellent preservation of B&W images/illustrations and bold black typeset; little wear. Spine remains straight/smooth, with mild shelfwear (top/base), while binding is intact/secure and square-to-hand. There are no excessive nicks, chips, rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs. The picture book measures approx 12" x 10".
