This is a vintage used item, in good used condition, with some signs of age/wear; the matchbook has had matches removed, striking strip has been trimmed off with large perforation, there is light wear to graphics with blemish at rear cover, light rubbing to surface of paper, mild edgewear and associated corner wear, fading with points of blemish to interior, some fading/smudging at center fold. Overall paper quality is good; smooth/glossy, with good preservation of color/sheen and typography still sharp/clear. There are no excessive rips, tears, perforations, stains, residue or repairs.
The matchbook cover measures approx 2" x 4.5" and contains no matches, which was the acceptable guideline for matchbook collecting up until the 1960's and is part of a collection of over 2300 matchbook covers from the 1930's to the 1970's.
